Short vita

Subodh Kumar Agarwal has worked with the South Asia office of Friedrich Naumann Foundation for almost 20 years, handling their economic projects both at the national level and the regional level. Working together with national business associations in all South Asian economies, he worked for the promotion of the private sector participation in the economy. He is keen to contribute towards a prosperous and poverty-free South Asia.

Prior to joining the Foundation in Delhi, he spent long years in Germany, where he studied and then worked in the software development industry.

His last assignment was being a Director/CEO of a German subsidiary (100% export unit) in Delhi engaged in exporting Indian Natural Stones to Germany. This gave him an insight into the commercial aspects and compliance issues governing Indian businesses.
