#HUMAN RIGHTS IN ASEAN :

Human Rights in ASEAN – The Cartoonists Perspective Exhibition is organized by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom with Hujjah Ehsan and led by Zunar, the recipient of Courage in Editorial Cartooning Award and Cartooning for Peace Award.

This exhibition displays 81 cartoons illustrated by 38 cartoonists from Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, the Philippines and Thailand.

The issues also canvas the state of emergency in Malaysia; the Lèse-majesté law in Thailand; the murderous war on drugs in the Philippines; the coup in Myanmar and religious extremism in Indonesia.

The Human Rights in ASEAN takes place from 1st July to 30th July 2021.
