How to define Fake News?

Many people are unaware of how to trace the sources of news such as where it comes from, who spread the news first and so on. Organizations and political associations or groups used to benefit from such lack of social media literacy for their interest.

Apparently, it is getting hard to distinguish fake and real news nowadays as even many professional journalists, researchers and educated people are sharing rumors without identifying the original sources.

Mostly fake news come from fake people and fake profiles. And fake news, most of the time, spread on many social media platforms when the special and sometimes sensitive cases happen. To ignite peoples’ emotion and be worse the situation, the fake news is the best option.

There are dozens of registered big publishing houses, newspapers and weekly journals which also have socia media channels where people can check before they share the news from others. If the rumors come out without passing the newsroom, it can be one sided stories and ones’ interest.

Another issue is that laws and regulations are not updated anymore to handle the fake news as well as the consequences of it.
