Today begins the second stage of our Hackathon: The Naumann Hack in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This project responds to three specific questions: How can we have a better relationship between the European Union and Latin America? What proposals can we generate from civil society to prosper in this relationship? What projects can we propose?

After a successful first online stage: the Theodor Heuss Bootcamp, where 66 people from all over Latina America participated, some of the most relevant topics for the reconfiguration of the agenda between both regions were reviewed: markets and investment; resources for the energy future; digital transformation; freedom of movement and borders; and circular economy. Five international experts provided perspectives and laid the groundwork for fourteen teams of young people from the region to propose ideas for reshaping one aspect of the relationship between the two regions.

The three finalist teams made up of thirteen participants from Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Mexico are in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to compete for their ticket to the world finals in Berlin.

Now the three finalist teams made up of thirteen participants from Argentina, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Ecuador and Mexico are in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to perfect the presentation of their teams, and to take part in conferences by international specialists in the topics on which they received training during the online sessions. The experts who will take part in the conferences are Diego Rivera, researcher at Columbia University in New York; Talía Romero from Fomento Laguna in Mexico; Edgardo Zablotsky from UCEMA in Argentina; Camila López Badra, Executive Director of Democracia Global in Argentina; Fernando García, Executive President of the National Association of Industrialists (ANDI) in Honduras; Salma Jalife, Director of the Mexico Digital Center and Gastón Gugliotta, Streambe in Argentina.

Finally, the participating teams will present their project and a jury of authorities will choose the finalist who will participate in the world final in October in Berlin where they will compete against the finalists from around the world.

The Naumann Hack through the second stage, with the forum on "Agenda for Cooperation between the European Union and Latin America" seeks to be a space to explore the most important challenges of the relationship between the two regions, and through the projects of young people made in the Hackathon, offer innovative proposals for cooperation.
