Peru: curfews and new restrictions amidst the COVID-19 outbreak

On Wednesday, January 13th, Peru's Head of State determined a set of indicators and regulations to stop the outbreak of the coronavirus and its impact on the nations precarious health system. These are moderate, high and, very-high levels, based on the national health care conditions (Peru lacks ICU units, respirators and medical equipment). Capital city Lima will face a curfew from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. Private vehicules are not allowed to circulate on Sundays (with the exception of few regions), capacity has been reduced for commercial outlets. Regulations begin on the 15th and will be reconsidered by January 31st.
