Future careers. Exchange of Ideas. Networking. Connecting with international experts and organisations.

Aspiring young leaders (aged 16-19) from Southeast and East Asia have a rare opportunity to expand their knowledge, career prospects and network in an international setting.

Alumni of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation have created a programme to guide the choices of young people in tomorrow’s labour market. Successful applicants will learn about the fundamentals of the labour market and possible future careers. In addition, the youth will have an opportunity to brainstorm and discuss their career prospects and to develop connections with other students from Southeast and East Asia.

Future Step for Youth

The seminar series take place on Zoom Online over two weekends in September: September 4-5 and September 11-12. Each of the sessions will involve a combination of lecture-style presentations, discussions and fun educational game activities. Most importantly, the young leaders will be able to connect to international experts and organisations, gaining a foundation to broaden their careers in the future.

There are limited spaces available for this Young Leaders Programme! The programme will accept talented youth (aged 16-19) based upon their academic merits and English proficiency. The seminar is free of charge and open to young people from the Southeast and East Asia region. Fill out the form and see the requirements to complete the application here.

The final application deadline for youth in Southeast Asia is on August 20 2021. For youth from East Asia, deadline is extended to August 25 2021.
