On 8 August 2011 Dr Lobsang Sangay was formally sworn in as the Kalon Tripa, or Head of Cabinet, of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) based in Dharamsala, India. He had been elected to this position, as Head of the Cabinet, of the administration of the Tibetan exile community through two rounds of elections, winning with more than 55 percent of the votes in an election that saw a more than 60 percent turnout among the registered voters among the Tibetan exile community.Download report here (PDF)
