The India-Pakistan relations determine the peace and prosperity of South Asia. However, the well-being of South Asians is held hostage to the sour political relations between the two countries. Despite the need for strong economic ties, the governments have not provided the much-required impetus for greater formal, thus trade continues to grow through informal channels.
