“The early 90s were a new beginning for Cambodia. It was great that the Naumann-Foundation came here right away and that it continues to work with us”, Dr. Kek said, who chairs a National Working Group on Human Rights. FNF´s activities in Cambodia include cooperation with democratic parties, human rights activists and NGOs, which work for more Freedom in Cambodia.

During our recent event in Phnom Penh, we also honoured Khim Sophanna, who has been working for FNF in Cambodia for the past 15 years. In addition, Meta House showed the documentary „Pepper – Property – Prosperity“, which was funded by FNF. The film features pepper production in Cambodia’s Kampot-Province, it shows the benefits of market economy, economic freedom and the protection of property rights.
